Creating a Soap

To create a SOAP, follow these steps.

  1. On the appointment page, click on the “More” icon under Action. 
  1. Click on the “START ENCOUNTER” button on the appointment detail.
  1. You will be redirected to the “SOAP Form” page.

Subjective 

  • To begin, click the +Add button to input “Initial Complaints”. 
  •  A pop-up window will appear. 
  •  Enter your complaint and press the enter key, or click the ADD button. 
  •  Once finished, click the “X” to close the pop-up.
  •  The added complaint will be automatically checked. 
  •  Provide further details in the “Description” field.
  •  And proceed by clicking the “NEXT” button.

Objective 

  •  To begin, click the “+Add” button to input “Vital and Physical Findings”. 
  •  A pop-up window will appear. 
  •  Enter your findings and press the enter key, or click the ADD button. 
  •  Once finished, click the “X” to close the pop-up.
  •  The added findings will be automatically filled. 
  •  Provide further details in the “Description” field.
  •  And proceed by clicking the “NEXT” button.

Assessments

  • To begin, provide a summary of patient assessments. 
  • Enter the diagnosis.
  • Use the “+Add” button to include additional diagnoses as necessary.
  • And proceed by clicking the “NEXT” button.

Plan

  • Begin by choosing Services or Procedures. 
  • Select Drugs from the drop-down options provided.
  • Use the drop-down arrow to select multiple drugs.
  • To add a drug multiple times, simply click the “+” button.
  • You can remove a drug by clicking the delete icon.
  • Add all other planned actions such as Labs, File uploads, and recommendations.
  • Under follow-up appointments, check YES or NO 
  • Provide a detailed plan of action in the “Vet Note” section.
  • Proceed by clicking the “SUBMIT THE SOAP” button.
  • To finalize SOAP creation click the “SUBMIT THE SOAP”. 
  • After clicking “SUBMIT THE SOAP,” a “Price Summary” or “Estimate Payment” will appear.
  • Click “DONE” to generate an invoice or select “MAKE PAYMENT.”
